Senior Marine/Navy Engineer
Professional Analysis, Inc

Description:
The Senior Engineer will provide engineering and program management support for U.S. Navy expeditionary equipment/systems from acquisition, through life cycle support, and disposal. This high visibility position is at the Washington Navy Yard.

Duties include serving as a Table of Allowance (TOA) Engineer/Program Manager and being responsible for acquisition and life cycle management of the TOAs of Navy Expeditionary Units ashore, including Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC), Naval Beach Groups (NBGs), their respective subordinate commands, and several other non-shipboard navy expeditionary type programs.

A Senior Engineer is needed to provide in depth understanding of the technical aspects of procurements and help apply a disciplined, weapons system acquisition approach to the TOA as a system of systems. Candidate will be responsible for helping ensure the warfighter’s current and future requirements are met.

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field or at least 10 years experience in program management or logistics support

• Experience in DoD systems acquisition

• Experience in providing systems engineering support to systems acquisition programs

• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

• Self-starter, motivated, flexible to changing priorities

• Works well with little to no direct supervision

• Professional in appearance and conduct

• Very detailed oriented and analytical

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. DoD Security Clearance

Desired:

• DAWIA certification Level III in System Planning Research, Development and Engineering - Systems Engineering (SPRDE-SE) or equivalent

• Experience in supporting managers in Program Executive Office Littoral, Mine Warfare (PEO LMW), PEO Expeditionary Warfare (PEO EXW), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and their DOD Resource Sponsors

• PMP

• Former military officer or senior enlisted/non-commissioned officer

• Knowledge of ROC/POE, mission essential task lists (METs/METLs)

• Understanding of planning, programming, budget execution (PPBE) process & POM papers
